Our Digital Design Sprint accelerates the earliest phase of the FDA Device Development Process—Step 1: Device Discovery and Concept. Whether you're exploring a new clinical need, validating user workflows, or refining an existing digital health concept, we help you build the proof-of-concept assets that justify moving to the next stage of development.

With our deep background in Healthcare and MedTech, we've specifically tailored this process for the challenges MedTech faces. Over the course of 3 weeks, our team of Design Experts will take you from idea to tangible prototype—unlocking business value while helping you avoid risk.

Sprint Overview

3 Weeks to Prototype

Week 1
Week 1

Ideate

The sprint begins with an alignment workshop to define the problem and set clear goals for the team, followed by brainstorming a wide range of ideas. The team will then choose the 3 most promising directions.

Week 2
Week 2

Design

The team then moves through a series of structured activities, including idea generation and rough prototyping for the selected directions to ultimately down-select to one concept.

Week 3
Week 3

Prototype & Deliver

The team will build an interactive prototype and conduct a cognitive walkthrough or concept feedback session. You'll leave with a validated prototype ready for broader user testing.

Project Scope and Deliverables

What You'll Walk Away With: Tangible deliverables ready to present to stakeholders, inform funding decisions, or brief your development partners.

This project covers taking a new or existing digital product and building 1 core workflow and 1 interactive prototype (up to 10 screens).

To maintain timeline and budget, timely feedback is required at identified decision points in the project plan that will be shared prior to the project.

Artifacts Included:

  • Project and Communication Plan
  • Feature Definition
  • Site-Map Architecture
  • 1 core workflow (mid-fidelity wireframes)
  • 1 Interactive Prototype
  • Project Handoff Package
  • Next Steps Recommendations
